OMG @ I am sad to see that I have lost a reader... probably because I have been behind in making tags, or perhaps, I am just boring? Oops, it was a guy I failed to pay attention to. My bad. So sorry about that...

Yep @ it has been a VERY long week at work... I finally understand why some people pray for Friday! I got behind, because I had three kids leave the shelter last week. There is a lot of preparation when the kids leave. Having so many of my cases approved at once is a good thing, but it just gives me more work... This week, I had to wait all week for the airfare to come in the mail for a kid that left the shelter this morning, so that helped me out a bit. The bad thing is that they have changed the rules, and now, we have to justify every 30 days why the kids are still at the shelter. Grrr @ I am still trying to finish up with one kid who has been there since July. What's difficult is that I didn't have him until the end of last year, so all of my reports are second hand information from the previous worker's notes. Doesn't seem fair. Grrr.... Also, I have some new kids, and I don't know them yet.

One thing that freaked me out is that the head She-Devil stood up for me in a meeting. She said that I am doing a good job and that I am kicking butt. (working fast) OMGGG... That really freaked me out, because it came very unexpected. Does that mean that I might pass probation? Still, I don't trust them, and I think it is good for my boss and everyone to describe me as a "quiet person." LOL @ remaining mysterious can work to my advantage!

P.S.... One thing I forgot to mention was the Obama Inauguration. We were allowed to see it with the kids, but unfortunately, we had to hear it in Spanish. I don't like it when they try to translate in another language, because it always loses something in the translation.

Who is Bettie Page?!# OMG @ I can't believe someone asked that! Bettie Page was the most famous Pinup of the 1950's. She is known as the Queen of Pinup. Bettie had a Bachelor of Arts degree, but during the 1950's women were not taken seriously in business, so after college, she worked as a secretary. After she was "discovered" she posed for photographs that were shocking for her time. She knew how to sew, so she made her costumes and bikinis. She also posed nude and for fetish and bondage photographs. She stopped posing for photographs after she had a spiritual experience, and in her later life, worked as a missionary to spread the word of God.

In the movie "Clueless," Claire refers to her mom as a "Bettie." That means her mom was hot, a total babe... Although Bettie Page was a very pretty girl, she survived three divorces. It's funny how most pretty girls are not lucky in love...

I guess that must mean that I am really beautiful, because I am not lucky in love at all! LOL... Of course, there have been many men that I have ignored... I have men giving me their phone numbers all of the time, but I usually end up losing their number... be it coincidental or a subconcious act! LOL

Last week, I think the maintenance man, aka The Hammer Guy (sounds more hip~ LOL), was trying to ask me out. OMG @ how young is that guy? Thank God, I don't show my age... Besides, I work for a religious organization and it is never a good idea to mix in the office ink, so that sounds like a double whammy! LOL... I felt kind of pervy the other day, because I was physically attracted to the newspaper reporter, aka Clark Kent Stud. That one is only 21 years old... OMG @ I had to slap myself silly about that one! LOL...

Most people in the world are so busy trying to find someone to live their life with... Most of them do not know how to cook, do not have an education, do not have a career, might not even be a little bit attractive, but they are still looking... I have been too busy trying to survive... Are my priorities off balance?!

This is a tag that I made this summer. It was my first tag with animation. It is a bit off, so don't look too closely! LOL... LOL @ the pun on Bettie Page... and YES! I have some Bettie Page pumps just like those! I love shoes. LOL @ is there a girl out there who doesn't love shoes?! I just wish I could keep wearing my high heels. After that freak fall where both my ankles got caught underneath the concrete stairs, my ankles continue to hurt so bad, and wearing anything but flats is torture. I have been praying for healing of my body, but mostly for my legs and feet, because most jobs will not allow you to wear flats. Last week, I had to wear heels and I suffered for it for two days afterwards, but I thank God that my feet didn't have to be cut off!!!!! Oh, how I continue to fight to be able to stand on my own two feet... literally!!!!! LOL

This will probably be a busy week for me, so I have no clue if I will be able to post much or not... I may have to be MIA this week (Missing In Action) and/or forget about having to cut and paste the letter "d." LOL @ for those who don't know, I am missing the letter "d" from my computer. It is such a pain to cut & paste....

P.S... The moon is almost full! Don'tcha just love it?! It's calling my name to go out for a moonlit walk this evening... It's almost time for that Moon diet...

P.S.S... This weekend, I was able to add the gadget that allows you to see the updates of the blogs that I am following!!!!!!! Yay @ I finally got it! I set it up so that only ten of the latest entries show on the sidebar. I am so excited about this, because maybe now I will be able to keep up with people's journals. I am loving Blogger! I have dial-up, though, so I am still having trouble seeing some journals because they put too much animation in one entry. I pray that someday I may be able to see your stuff, Sugar! LOL...
